Since taking over the position of creative director at Pucci, Matthew Williamson has brought the fashion house firmly back into the fashion spotlight, and his latest colection shown at Milan fashion week, shows us how he’s done it. While maintaining the elements that made the house a success the first time round (bright colours, technicolour prints) he’s also moved it firmly into the 21st century. This season he produced tough, urban looks which wouldn’t look out of place on the backs of Mary-kate Olsen or Chloe Seveigny. For the traditionalists in the crowd however, there were the signature looks, like flowing dresses with bright geometric prints and swirls of tropical blooms. Definately a hit show.
